• Welcome guests and ascertain their dining needs• Seat guests and manage the seating chart• Monitor restaurant activity and dining flow• Perform opening and closing duties• Make reservations and special arrangements• Conduct meetings to inform staff• Assist with side work including cleaning and stocking• Ensure knowledge of menu• Respond to guest inquiries and requests• Maintain proper set-up of dining room and enforce standards
