Lead Medical Assistant

Any Lab Test Now Huntersville in Huntersville, NC is looking for a Team Lead - Medical Assistant to join our team. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, ambitious, detail oriented, and engaged. Responsibilities The Lead Medical Assistant (LMA) works under the Clinic Director to assist with maintaining efficient patient flow and quality care during clinic hours. The LMA will perform vitals, patient history, venipuncture, specimen collection (blood, urine, DNA), CLIA waived in-house testing, EKG's, and respond to patient inquiries as directed by the provider and/or clinical supervisor. Provides direct patient care and serves as a liaison between provider and patient. Responsibilities include opening/closing the facility, working with customers, processing specimens, end of day administrative and cleaning procedures, and working with corporate accounts to ensure satisfaction. Acts as a supervisor to new Phlebotomists and entry-level Medical Assistants and assists with orientation and development of new staff.
Qualifications This position requires a licensed NC state or nationally recognized Medical Assistant or certified Phlebotomist who can supervise and train new staff. College degree preferred. High school diploma or equivalent. 5 or more years healthcare experience in a Physician office setting. Ability to obtain Corporate Any Lab Test Now MA certification and DOT drug test certification within 90 days of hire. We are looking forward to hearing from you.
