Join us as a Lead Material Handler Your Skills Facilitates and supports ESS teamwork in completing all tasks relating to total customer satisfaction. Provides guidance, counseling, development in carrying out their assignments. Prepares meeting agendas and facilitates team meetings according to the team's agreed upon guidelines. Supports the resolution of internal and external customer problems and requests; escalates when appropriate. Assists, supports and makes appropriate recommendations in ESS efforts to achieve and maintain adequate requirements and staffing levels. Coordinates material handlers' training activities to ensure adherence to procedures and protocol. Acts as a job-related information resource for associates and internal customers. Monitors efficiency of ESS support tools and technical equipment; escalates when appropriate. Manage team conflicts so that problems and complaints are resolved constructively; reporting employee issues to Manager for action Delegate team tasks as needed Facilitate ongoing self-evaluation of the team's effectiveness Maintains work area, tools and equipment in a clean, safe, orderly manner. Observes all safety and hygiene rules and regulations. Establishes or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules. Assisting with performance appraisals Oversees material transfer bewteen primary and offsite storage locations Schedules and approves employee work hours Your Experience WORK ENVIRONMENT The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of the job. Qualifications: Associate degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or management preferred
2-4 years work experience in like industry
Strong working knowledge of SAP/ERP system
Working knowledge of Excel
