In this role, you will combine your diverse technical and industry background with a deep understanding of how technology impacts business environments.
Responsibilities
Own overall technical relationship with pre-assigned accounts Develop proposals and high-level designs with input from Solutions Architects. Identify customer business and technical requirements for opportunities. Participate in all internal sales meetings as the technical representative. Develop Statements of Work (SOW) for all professional services activity Participate in validating the strategy for responding to RFPs. Obtain and maintain vendor certifications required to support Insight certification requirements or goals. Report regularly to management on time spent, revenue, billable activities, and services. Track opportunities being worked, preparing weekly report on revenue, gross profit, and services associated with the efforts of the Architect. What you'll need to succeed
Strong working knowledge of data center technologies. Familiarity with most cloud providers. Understanding of Disaster Recovery and/or Business Continuity. Strong functional understanding of Automation & Orchestration technologies. Wide technology background with emphasis on data center technologies and familiarity with cloud hyper-scalers. Ability to dissect complex business and technical challenges and develop Insight proposals. Relevant degree or work experience. Industry or vendor certifications in two or more Insight practice areas. Strong communication skills, including room presence and peer leadership.
