Raines has maintained a family-oriented culture that believes in building relationships with our associates, with our partners and within the communities where we operate.Essential Job FunctionsIdentify stained or damaged items and determine status for repair, spot treatment, rewash, or discard.Inspect cleanliness of articles removed from the washer, dryer, or dry-cleaning machines and place in clean linen carts.Set dryer to designated times and temperatures based on fabrics contained in load.Remove lint and debris from dryer screens, dry cleaning filters, and drain trap after each load.Fold cleaned articles into designated size, either by hand or using folding machineMaintain accurate records of items launderedDeliver folded linen to designated storage areasFollow all company safety and security policies and proceduresEnsure uniform and personal appearance is clean and professionalWelcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standardsAbility to work independently without close supervisionSpeak with others using clear and professional languageAnswer telephones using appropriate etiquetteComply with quality assurance expectations and standardsKeep laundry all surroundings always cleanPerform other reasonable job duties as requested by SupervisorsExperiencePrior laundry experience preferredHours requiredScheduled days and time vary based on hotel needs.
