Landscaping Spray Technician

Job description Perform chemical and fertilizer applications on high-end commercial properties Monitor turf and landscape health Apply applications in a safe and proper manner Attend all field safety training classes Use of proper safety equipment Follow all State and Federal guidelines Properly report and log applications Knowledgeable in the ability to safely operate pressurized spray equipment, rotary and drop spreaders, tractors, over-seeders and other field equipment for duties Ensures all assigned equipment, tools, safety items, vehicles & trailers or other items are maintained in proper working order by following proper maintenance and inventory schedules. Is accountable for neglect and abuse of assigned equipment Maintain and secures equipment to include the functionality, storage and cleanliness Understand the Quality Control Inspection Form and informs Crew Leader/ Manager/ Owner of all site conditions. Able to maintain all jobs to bid specifications Maintain client satisfaction (internal and external) to ensure jobs are renewed. Ensures that applications increase to protect the quality of the turf and plant material. Keep up with current industry specifications, products and equipment. Follow current local, state and federal pesticide application regulations and licensing. Responsible for reading, understanding MSDS sheets and maintain MSDS folder. Maintain area for pesticides and properly insure safety of fellow employees, self and product contamination. Shall possess a valid state driver's license appropriate to the class and capability of the vehicle that they are assigned to operate and driving record must meet company standards as well as the state requirements where the vehicle is driven. Can work independently in the absence of supervision. Job Type: Full-time
