Responsibilities
• Waters, mows, weeds, trims, renovates, and fertilizes turf areas• Plants, waters, edges, prunes, and removes trees, shrubs, bushes, and flowers• Clears snow, leaves, and debris from right of way, sidewalks• Operates a variety of equipment including mowers, weed eaters, tractors, and hand tools• Completes and submits daily work reports, work orders, and payroll timesheets• Inspects and maintains assigned equipment and vehicles• Cleans assigned vehicles and equipment• Applies weed control chemicals and fertilizers• Applies chemicals, fertilizers, and other hazardous materials following safety precautions• Promotes a culture of safety in the workplace and reports safety hazards• Provides courteous customer service and relays citizen requests for service• Complies with Company policies and procedures• Works with construction, project management, and field personnel• Demonstrates role model behavior on ethics and integrity• Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
• Must have good eye for detail and perform duties to a high level of quality• Must wear company assigned uniforms and be neat in appearance• Must follow guidelines and policies on the use of cell phones and computers• Must be able to operate a cell phone• Must be able to read and understand instructions, write legible work reports and notes• Must be able to communicate information and respond to questions• Must be able to perform simple mathematical calculations• Must be able to carry out simple written and oral instructions• Must be physically able to work in various conditions and lift a maximum of 100 pounds• Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions and may be exposed to various hazards
