The Land Technician will complete projects targeted to experience level, work with mentor and other land staff, and present the results to your supervisor.Key AccountabilitiesComplete projects targeted to experience level, work with mentor and other land staff, and present the results to your supervisor.Work collaboratively with Land Negotiators and Land Analysts in a dynamic environment to accomplish shared goals and objectivesResearch Land related agreements and mineral ownership.Build and maintain network relationships with other groups within company, i.e., Asset Teams, Legal, Accounting, Tax, Production, and AuditCreate various reports from Quorum or parallel systemsHandle payments due to brokers, review and code invoices, and process vendor paymentsManage delivery and receipt of operated or non-operated ballotsProcess related contracts to Real Property AdministrationRequired and Preferred Skills and ExperienceBasic proficiency with Microsoft O365 applications: Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, and WordAssociate degree or higher in Business, related business discipline or other technical related discipline or foreign equivalentOffice Experience preferredOil and gas industry experience preferredExperience in Land Technician (or similar role) within Oil and Gas industry preferredBasic knowledge of oil and gas Land and financial systems, i.e., Quorum, ArcMap, SAP, etc.Able to work in a team environmentEffective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skillsDetail oriented, thorough, and efficientConocoPhillips contract opportunities are for project-based or other short-term engagements that require specialized skills.
