General Purpose :
Assists cook(s) with food preparation and service. Cleans food, preparation areas, and equipment.

Essential Functions: Assists the cook(s) with food preparation as requested. Assists the cook(s) in properly labeling, covering and storing unused food after each meal. Assists the cook(s) in cleaning food preparation areas and equipment. Assists the cook(s) as requested in inventorying and stocking food products and supplies. Busses and resets tables in the dining room following meals, as requested. Maintains the cleanliness of the kitchen. ? Minimum Qualifications: Dependable. Able to learn basic tasks and follow instructions. Well-groomed and willing to follow dress requirements. Able to regularly lift up to 20 pounds consistently, occasionally lift over 30 pounds, and to spend long periods of time on your feet. Valid Oklahoma State driver's license. Successful passing of a required background check. ?
General Requirements: Free of communicable disease Able to physically/mentally perform tasks, as verified by a health screening that includes TB clearance Criminal record clearance Current First-Aid certification Food Workers' License Ability to read, write and understand English General understanding of the needs of the elderly Willingness to learn ? Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
