Junior Accountant-Accounts Payable

Cordia Resources is currently seeking a Junior Accountant specializing in Accounts Payable. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or entry-level professional with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic corporate environment.
Responsibilities: Process accounts payable transactions accurately and timely, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and employee reimbursements. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies as needed. Prepare and submit expense reports for reimbursement, ensuring compliance with company policies. Assist in the preparation and distribution of 1099 forms for vendors as required by tax regulations. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address inquiries and resolve issues related to accounts payable. Support month-end and year-end close processes, including accruals and reporting. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required. Previous internship or work experience in handling accounts payable is a plus. Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
