The IT Help Desk Intern will be responsible for providing basic help desk support for desktop workstations, laptops, and peripherals to both local and remote users. This individual will learn how to fix/repair, install, move, add and modify all Windows platforms, systems, files, and directories. This individual will also learn how to load baseline software, support user accounts and access configurations. The IT Help Desk Intern will learn these and other skills by assisting/shadowing the Systems Support Specialist as they perform their duties.
Additional Responsibilities:
Remote User Support, may travel to remote sites as necessary
Level I Help Desk Support and ticket escalation when necessary
Assist with incident routing and ticket assignment
End user support and training for all systems
Telecommunications support
Install and provide desktop support for Windows OS, Microsoft Intune, Office 365 and Adobe
Administrative duties including correspondence and document management
Assist with hardware inventory and
