Internship- Retail Data/Analytics Support

I. JOB SUMMARY:
Under supervision of the Retail Regional Manager, perform entry level professional duties of moderate difficulty providing the opportunity for professional training within the Data driven metrics in our Retail and Outlet stores. Perform assigned duties to acquire knowledge of methods, procedures and standards required for successful performance. May perform duties such as gathering and organizing data to provide information for departmental special projects or reports. II. DUTIES: A. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Responsible for Retail project assignments, research, and analysis. Support management functions.
2. Provides information and assistance to leadership and store teams.
3. Prepares project reports, progress summaries, statistical analysis, and related data within Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power BI.
4. Analyzes, generates, and maintains records and other reference material necessary for departmental use.
5. Analyze reports and data to identify opportunities for improving the logistics of product delivery from our stores to the outlet.
6. Analyze reports and data to identify optimal product ratios at our outlet, and help determine which items should be prioritized for sale.
7. Answers and makes phone calls, responds to program related questions and sends written material as appropriate.
8. Composes, types and prints reports, general letters, spreadsheets, e-mail, and memoranda from rough drafts or general instructions, involving the assembly of data from computer and paper file or record sources. Communicate and share findings with Retail Leadership. B. Marginal Job Functions:

2. Shadow and support various members of department. III. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: A. Core Competencies:
1. Possess talent and skill to organize, plan, and gather and analyze data.
2. Possess strong time management skills.
3. Works independently and creatively.
4. Display excellent communication skills, both oral and written. B. Education and Experience:
1. Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university.
2. Transportation for a small amount of travel.
3. Valid Driver's License.
