We are excited to announce a job opportunity for the position of Shift Lead within the Trading Post and Manitou locations. This position is available for internal candidates. This position can be year-round or seasonal. Location: Trading Post and Manitou locations
This is a front-line position primarily focused on high-quality customer service and sales along with daily management of the sales floor. The shift lead will work with team members to ensure that the tasks needed to keep all sales areas operating smoothly are completed. She/he will set a positive example for the team members. She/he utilizes the Mission and Vision Statements when working with staff and customers. 
Responsibilities:
Supervise team members by setting the culture for positive and goal-oriented teamwork Provide and model high-quality, customer centered behavior Ensure team members are on-time and ready to work Delegate and ensure all side work responsibilities are completed as needed Ensure that team members have appropriate training and provide coaching when needed in customer service Assist with the opening and closing duties Aid with any register and computer or customer service issues Maintain commissions log Promote and encourage best sales practices to increase sales Qualifications:
Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting and long-lasting relationships Previous management experience a plus Knowledge and experience of the retail sales process a plus Familiarity with consumer behavior principles Ability to perform and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Knowledgeable of associate member job duties and responsibilities Must be able to work 10 hour shifts in Manitou during summer season Application Deadline: May 13, 2024
