Position: Cafe Customer Service We are excited to announce a job opportunity for the position of Cafe Customer Service within the Balanced Rock Cafe. This position is available for internal candidates.
Location: Balanced Rock Cafe 324 Beckers Lane
Compensation: $14.50-16.00 an hour plus tips
The primary objective of cafe customer service is to create a welcoming and enjoyable experience for customers while efficiently meeting their needs. This includes providing excellent customer service, accurately taking orders, maintaining cleanliness and organization, and contributing to a positive and cohesive team environment. Ultimately, the goal is to leave customers satisfied and eager to return, contributing to the success of the cafe.
Responsibilities:
Greeting customers as they enter the cafe area and providing them with a warm welcome. Familiarity with menu items, including possible dietary alternatives. Taking customer orders accurately and efficiently Handling cash transactions and processing payments using cash register Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the cafe, including wiping down tables and sweeping Follow instructions from supervisors in a timely and efficient manner and complete tasks correctly. Qualifications:
Previous experience in customer service. Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills for processing payments and handling cash. Attention to detail and a strong focus on cleanliness and hygiene. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays. A positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt. Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team. Application Deadline: May 31, 2024
