Overview National Internship Program: At AssuredPartners, our internship program was created to support the next generation of talent in finding meaningful, professional development experiences within the insurance industry. As a Marketing & Communications Intern, you will gain an understanding of the various systems, initiatives, and programs used by the marketing and communications team. The program will provide you with a broad understanding of our social media engagement strategies, graphic design and content development process, new business development systems, and various other applications designed to create a unified brand identify and maximize our AssuredPartners name. You will gain an overall understanding of marketing and communications department operations. You will build valuable skills while working with a fast-paced team and developing time management strategies.

What You'll Do Please note that the duties below can vary based on the workflow of your local office. Enters accurate client information into system applications. Tracks Marketing Department new business progress. Prepares quotes, renewal proposals and other documents for the Marketing Executive and Producer. Works with Marketing Executive on quotes for Producers when additional coverage is needed. Maintains agency management system with necessary client documents and information. Other duties as assigned. Travel is expected to be negligible in this role. What You'll Need Must be enrolled in post-secondary education, ideally in a degree program concentrating in Marketing, Communications, or Risk Management. Ideal candidates will be professional and congenial - with inquisitive personalities and the ability to think critically. Must be driven, self-starting, and coachable while demonstrating a high level of maturity. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common business documents, and a high capacity for learning is critical. Proficient Microsoft Excel skills.
