Instrument Assembler

Roles & Responsibilities Master the assembly process and requirements for all instruments in the production area. Assemble multiple product lines, integrating sub-assemblies into instruments. Maintain device history records and conduct basic component testing. Identify defects and recommend design/process improvements. Provide training to associates and execute basic test instructions. Conduct troubleshooting and repair work, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Collaborate with various departments including Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Planning, and Purchasing. Maintain a safe and clean work environment, following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and company policies. Perform standard material handling functions and follow housekeeping and safety procedures. Be willing to work overtime as needed and perform other duties as required. Experience Required High school degree or GED with 4 years of manufacturing experience, or an AA technical degree with 1 year of experience. Experience in a regulated environment is required. Skills & Certifications Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop associates. Commitment to continuous improvement and proficiency in Lean Manufacturing principles. Proficiency in mechanical tools and reading technical drawings. Effective time management and ability to work in a team setting. Proficiency in English, basic computer skills, and ability to work in a repetitive environment.
