Independent Living Service Attendant

Job Type:  Part-time
Pay Rate: $16.50 (incl. a .50/hour attendance bonus)
RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist the Director of Life Enrichment through providing exceptional service to the residents of our Woodpointe Independent Living community.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Interacts with Residents, staff, volunteers and/or family in a positive way Participates as an active member of the interdisciplinary team. Assists with theme days and other special events as assigned by the Director of Life Enrichment Setting up /conducting activities listed on monthly activity calendar Decorating for the holidays and other special events Providing meal service Cleaning of all common areas Preparing food items for coffee hour, continental breakfast, dinner (salad/fruit plates only) Transporting residents to local stores/outings Occasionally assist residents with activities of daily living such as showering, medication assistance, and apartment cleaning as requested.
