The Managing Director of il Buco Vita is an integral member of the il Buco Family and the entrepreneurial head of the il Buco Vita brand, building on the achievements and successes of the company, and spearheading new and exciting initiatives to continue to grow this boutique brand and business. As Managing Director you are directly responsible for the big picture brand growth and strategy for Il Buco Vita.

Direct Reports : Sales & Operations, all Vita Retail Managers & Associates.
Vita NYC is located at 4 East 2nd St, Manhattan NY 10012 . This is a full-time position(On-Site).
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Working with Donna Lennard, and Antonello and Lorenzo Radi located in Italy on all levels of production, including product development and protocols, warehouse organization and controls, and vendor relations. Analyze, plan and implement for the expansion of Vita into new markets Lead and collaborate on fine tuning the wholesale strategy, diversification of new product, e-commerce and DTC growth channels. Provide leadership and guidance to store teams to ensure that each store functions efficiently and profitably. Create a company culture that promotes customer service and satisfaction in all aspects of the business as well as employee satisfaction and growth. Managing human resources functions such as recruiting, hiring, training, motivating, and coaching employees. Developing strategies to increase store traffic and sales, increasing wholesale orders and sales, managing partnerships for growth, and strategizing and developing brand growth throughout all channels. Working with Marketing Team to promote products and services, staying up to date on all initiatives currently in place and developing new initiatives, maintaining all social media channels and customer and client communications, and developing and maintaining websites to provide streamlined functionality and shopping experience. Identifying opportunities to improve operations by studying industry trends and customer preferences. Collaborate, plan and execute, inventory management, including restocking, and arranging orders with artisans and vendors, as well as Italian warehouse stock and efficiency. Review all product control standards, shipping materials & shipping costs in collaboration with the Il Buco Vita team. Overseeing merchandising of all outposts (retail stores, show room, restaurants) to promote the Vita lifestyle, look, and ethos. If necessary, create plan-o-grams and best practices of merchandising for training purposes. Full financial responsibility, including full P&L control and analysis, measuring performance against predetermined goals and objectives to ensure that all objectives are met, and planning and managing budgets to ensure that costs are controlled. Prepare, Analyze and strategize on a bi-weekly basis all financials to ensure that all team members are able to make decisions regarding their KPIs in a timely manner. Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field; Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably as a Director or similar position Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and digital marketing strategies Excellent strategic planning and problem-solving skills Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Demonstrated success in driving sales growth and achieving targets 'For the past thirty years, Donna Lennard has been celebrating the joy of sharing life's pleasures at the table.
