Hybrid/Remote - Back End Engineer

Job Title: Backend Engineer 
Location: Hybrid Remote with offices in Lexington and Louisville, KY - 3-4 days in office 
Compensation: $90k - $115k base + full benefits
Requirement: 3-6 years of Engineering experience required - Bachelors in IT/Software Engineering Required
Tech Stack: : AWS Lambda, AWS Dynamo, Java, Spring Framework, Git, Maven, CSS3, HTML5, JavaScript
Position Overview: This Software Engineer position is responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining software applications, making sure they are secure, reliable, and performant. The ideal candidate will have working knowledge and experience with Angular, CSS, HTML, Java, Java Spring, Spring Boot, MySQL, and AWS. Ideal candidate will have strong development skills in OOP and MVC/MVVM patterns.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyzing user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints Designing, developing, and testing software applications according to specifications Identifying and resolving software malfunctions Developing software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, and studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes Installing software solutions by following instructions and establishing appropriate parameters Maintaining and improving software solutions by monitoring and identifying areas for modification Updating job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment Protecting operations by keeping information confidential Complying with legal regulations Providing reports and documentation as needed Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field 3-6+ years of experience as a software engineer Proficiency in AWS Lambda, AWS Dynamo, Java, Spring Framework, Git, Maven, CSS3, HTML5, JavaScript Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of software development best practices Familiarity with Agile and Scrum software development methodologies Benefits Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.
