Title: HVAC/R Tech – with Controls experience

Immediate opening for 2 Commercial HVAC Tech positions. This is a mid tier experienced HVAC tech position for commercial heating & air and refrigeration and control systems. This is a full-time position with consistent optional overtime.
Oncall 1 X a month, dispatched from home local travel, NO overnight

Responsibilities:
Commercial HVAC Maintenance Tech, to work with Installation & repair of Commercial Heating and Cooling systems, & Controls
HVAC Startup, Warranty, and Factory Support
Configure unit controllers and VFD's to match the design intent and sequence of operations.
Proficient with computer interface for controls setup and possesses a good working understanding of BAS controls.
Able to interpret engineering drawings in reference to layout, location and operation of the system(s).
Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety protocols and procedures
Program the unit controller and VFD's to match the design intent and sequence of operations.
Proficient with computer interface for controls setup and possesses a good working understanding of BAS controls.
Providing excellent customer service, and troubleshooting, problem solving, diagnosing and replacement recommendations for refrigeration and heating systems
Will need to interpret engineering drawings in reference to layout, location and operation of the system(s).
Advise Service Coordinator of preventive maintenance inspections performed and corrective actions to be taken.
Able to check safety & limit controls.
PM & repair and assist in change outs of Commercial, Rooftop packages up to 30 tons and split units.
Service Cooling Towers, Heat Pumps, Split systems, pneumatic control systems, Data Centers, Server Rooms and Rooftop Units, refrigeration systems, DDC Controls for mission critical HVAC Clients
Requirements
Troubleshoot and maintain package units, high tonnage chillers, pump towers, cooling towers control systems, high tonnage boilers
Able to work on 100 CHW AHUs up to 3 phases Equipment is with ABB ACH580 drives, direct drive fans, and Allen Bradley Micro-Logix PLC's, large multi-phase new construction projects Mechanical skills required to work on a variety of complex HVAC systems including fans, compressors,
motor bearings, refrigeration circuits, burner set up, heat wheels, etc.
Must have current OSHA 10 Training.
Comfortable working around 5-ton to 200-ton package rooftop units under the direct supervision of a Lead Tech.
Moderate PC skills in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Understanding Real Time Energy Management (RTEM) enabling Client
Lift & move 75 lbs
Have hand tools
3+ years experience working with commercial HVAC systems, Controls, startup and refrigeration.
Will need experience with boilers, chillers, and pneumatic controls, digital controls and packaged HVAC equipment.
Universal EPA certified
Journeyman HVAC preferred but not required.
Clean driving record.
