Role Summary:
As a Human Space Flight Systems Engineer, you will lead the engineering and integration efforts for our space exploration initiatives. Your tasks will include designing, developing, and evolving systems with advanced technology solutions. Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop large-scale, complex systems for NASA or commercial human spaceflight programs.
Manage the product lifecycle from development to acquisition.
Develop, tailor, and manage system requirements, including interface definitions and requirements.
Drive systems engineering practices throughout the definition, design, development, verification, implementation, testing, integration, and validation phases.
Formulate Concept of Operations and Verification and Validation Plans.
Collaborate effectively with various stakeholders, including customers and hardware developers.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in systems engineering within NASA or commercial human spaceflight programs.
Strong background in developing and managing system and interface requirements.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required; a Master's degree in Systems Engineering or related field is preferred.
Ability to obtain a security clearance.
Experience with space vehicle systems such as extra vehicular activity, environmental and life support, thermal systems, avionics, and power systems is a plus.
INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) certification is beneficial.
