Dal-Tile is currently seeking an exceptional HR Specialist to join our TEAM! As the HR Specialist, we need someone who is ready to administer updates and other duties in Workday, iCIMS, and other HR related systems. Keeps electronic records and databases up to date and accurate.
Primary Objective Assists Human Resources Manager with planning, organizing, coordinating and conducting the Human Resources functions.
Major Function and Scope Reviews and monitors payroll/ timekeeping processes for accuracy and consistency. Administers updates and other duties in HR related systems. Keeps electronic records and databases up to date and accurate. Assists HR Specialist with orientation of new hires and temporaries. Keeps supervisors informed of work in progress and any problem areas. Supports the HR Manager in all areas of administrative services and special projects as needed. Assists in maintaining facility organization charts and employee directory. Assist employees with information needs. Maintain confidential employee files. Provides basic administrative support to HR department. Keep work area clean and organized at all times. Performs other related duties as required. Follow Safety Procedures.
Experience and Knowledge Required Bachelor's degree in HR or related area highly preferred. HS Diploma required. Knowledge of HR laws, regulations and industry required. 1 or more years of HR experience required. 4 years in lieu of education. Experience working in a manufacturing facility that is ISO certified strongly preferred. Competencies Strong interpersonal communication and training skills. Conflict resolution skills. Organization skills. Data analysis and interpretation skills. Must have good computer skills in word processing, spreadsheets, and databases. Must be a self-starter and be able to work with minimal supervision.
