Position Summary: Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking an HR Staff Associate for the Retiree Center within University Human Resources ( UHR ). The Retiree Center HR Staff Assistant is a key position within UHR OneSource Faculty and Staff Service Center, which services retired faculty and staff across the university. The Retiree Center HR Staff Assistant will work closely with Benefits and Wellness leadership as well as other University Human Resources departments to set, monitor, and maintain the Retiree Center operations and services. In addition, this position will be responsible for providing information and services to retired and prospective retired faculty and staff.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
Emeritus quarterly processing. Processes sick payout checks for retirees. Processes estate check processing for deceased employees. Provides and assists with retiree return to work forms. Death reporting for both active employees and retirees. Assists with coordination of Silver Knights Retiree Group meetings as needed. Responds to inquiries related to retiree RUID cards, Scarletmail accounts, retiree parking registration and other various retiree-related services/benefits. Minimum Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree, preferably in human resources management, business or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience. City: New Brunswick
