Lost Pines Club at Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort and Spa is a semi-private resort course that is comprised of Tif Eagle putting greens, 419 Bermuda grass, and Latitude 36 Bermuda grass. We are currently seeking motivated and energetic candidates for 2nd Assistant Superintendent . Duties include gut not limited to:
• Irrigation trouble shooting and repair
• Chemical and fertilizer application and documentation in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations
• Moisture management of greens
• Crew management/supervision
• Course Set-up
• Using all types of turf equipment to maintain the golf course Work environment:
• Regularly exposed to hot and humid conditions in summer months, occasionally cold and wet conditions in the winter months
• Moderate exposure to chemical and fumes used in the workplace
• Ability to lift/move 50 pounds on a regular basis and 100 pounds occasionally
• Must be able to squat, hunch, sit, stand and use arms and hands constantly Qualifications
• Associates degree in turf management preferred
• 1-2 seasons of golf maintenance experience preferred but new graduates are encouraged to apply
• Texas pesticide applicators license or ability to obtain in the first 90 days
• Calibration of equipment
• Valid Driver's license with clean driving record.
