Seeking detail-oriented and organized individual to join as Accounting ClerkResponsible for verifying, obtaining approvals, and processing payments for invoicesCrucial in ensuring timely and accurate financial transactions

Responsibilities
• Verify purchasing procedures• Maintain accurate Purchase Order Log• Route invoices for approval• Process approved invoices for payment• Handle vendor inquiries and reconcile vendor statements• Maintain organized files for invoices• Interface checks and submit log of manual checks• Other duties as assigned
Requirements
• High school education or equivalent experience• Accounting background preferred• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail• Ability to compile facts and figures• Ability to operate personal computer and calculator• Telephone etiquette skills• Ability to view CRT screen• Ability to communicate with vendors over the phone• Ability to read bills and accounts• Ability to lift/carry files and papers up to 5 lbs
