Greet and seat guests promptly, cheerfully and courteously.Take guest remittance as required and ensure the quality of the dining experience.Develop and maintain professional working relationships with IHOP Team Members and guests.

Responsibilities
• Greet guests and seat them as soon as a table is available.• Rotate station seating to ensure quality guest service.• Handle guest complaints, inquire about dining experience, thank guests, and invite them to return.• Handle cash accurately and responsibly.• Answer phone, take messages, and complete To Go/Delivery orders.• Maintain guest checks and waiting list.• Check restrooms for stock levels and cleanliness.• Clear, clean, and reset tables, chairs, booths, and floors.• Perform cleaning duties according to cleaning charts.• Comply with IHOP uniform and appearance standards.
Requirements
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.• Ability to write simple correspondence.• Ability to read and speak English.• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.• Successfully complete IHOP training course work.
