Chef ANDREW CARMELLINI and the front-of-house management team are seeking passionate HOSTS to join them at LAFAYETTE Grand Café and Bakery.
LAFAYETTE is an everyday grand café and bakery in ceremony of French cooking at the corner of Lafayette Street and Great Jones Street in downtown Manhattan. Our market-driven bistro menu is a worldly homage to the genre that spans a variety of regions, from Provence to Normandy to neighboring Mediterranean coasts, offering a re-mastery of traditional dishes we love and some signatures. Ideal candidates possess:
*Oversee the dining room and make it a warm and welcoming place.
*Actively take and process reservations.
*Answer incoming calls and questions.
*Ensure all guests have an exemplary dining experience.
*Positive attitude and strong work ethic with the mentality of a team player.
*Assist in coordinating the activities of dining room personnel to provide fast friendly service to guests.
