Responsibilities
• Provide surveillance of Behavior Health and potentially combative patients• Respond to and resolve emergencies such as security alarms• Maintain a working knowledge of computers• Provide effective oral and written communication• Perform security checks and monitor special assignments• Report and follow-up on all safety and fire hazards• Respond to lock/unlock doors, troubleshoot elevator problems• Perform safekeeping procedures• Assist with information to patients/visitors/staff• Escort to parking ramps and outlying areas
Requirements
• One year of experience in safety/fire safety/security or law enforcement• Valid driver's license and the ability to meet fleet safety standards is required• Two years of customer service experience• Proficiency in Microsoft Office computer software applications• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
