Greener Horizon is hiring a  Horticultural Specialist.  This position provides support for the Horticultural Manager in all tasks providing professional care of high-end landscapes. Ideal candidates would be comfortable leading their own jobs and crew members.
All applicants must be willing and able to work full days outside in varying weather conditions, including some weekends. This position is physical and requires strenuous physical activity at times.

Requirements: · Horticultural knowledge and plant experience required
· Be able to obtain a DOT, have a clean driving record, and willingness to drive oversized vehicles
· Attention to detail and a commitment to excellence
· Ability to work both independently and with a team
· Ability to lift 50lbs
· Strong work ethic and a willingness to work in all weather extremes
· Comfortable learning how to and operating small power equipment
· Pass a pre-employment drug test
· Love of the outdoors and garden spaces
Responsibilities: · Maintenance of gardens and landscapes
· Care of woody, perennial, and annual plants
· Container and ground plantings and maintenance
· Creating seasonal plantings and displays
· Communicating with clients when needed and relaying requests to supervisors
