Responsibilities
• Collect, analyze, and use academic data to provide targeted instruction and interventions• Build a strong classroom culture focused on learning• Cultivate a healthy working environment for co-workers• Collaborate with teammates, parents, and administrators• Attend professional development sessions for feedback and coaching• Thoroughly plan and prep lessons to maximize learning• Model PEAK values of Perseverance, Excellence, Adventure, and Kindness• Assist with arrival, dismissal, and other school community tasks• Work with Special Education teachers and school support staff• Ensure grade-level appropriate content and support for all students
Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED• Experience working with students or adults with disabilities• Knowledgeable about culturally responsive instruction and critical pedagogical framework• Success working with scholars from historically marginalized communities
