In this role you will utilize strong critical thinking and problem solving skills to interface verbally and in writing with Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Subject Matter Experts (SME) and Prime Contractor.
The analyst will support the MDA/SNEM-A Systems Engineering (SNE) Analysis Team:
Support test analysis (ground and flight tests), threat analysis, high fidelity radar analysis including tracking and discrimination, radar siting, warfighter request, and other areas as needed Perform analysis on recorded and model generated radar data Define and develop solutions for complex problems such as Special Radar Studies, Threat Analysis and Flight / Ground Test Planning and Analysis; including Study Definition, Data Extraction, Data Analysis, Tool Development, and Briefing Preparation Support technical reviews and information requests Disseminate results and update progress in the form of written and oral presentations Develop tools and perform analysis using MATLAB, C++, C#, Java, and other Scripting Languages (Bash, Python, Perl) Support the development and maintenance of medium and high fidelity computational tools to ensure accuracy and configuration control Assess associated risks, coordinate needs requirements and potential solutions offered with advanced MDA technologies 12+ years working on missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD program/project MS in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math Knowledge and application of phased array radar theory, function, and design Highly skilled in execution and analyses using digital radar M&S, specifically high fidelity radar models such as Open System Architecture Sensor Model and Common X-Band Element Development Tool and medium fidelity radar models US Citizen and active Secret clearance or higher The BlueHalo Effect
