Job Opportunity: Helpdesk Analyst
Location: Columbia, SC
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm (possible overtime)
About Us:
We are currently seeking a skilled Helpdesk Analyst for a Tier II role in our agency. This is a long-term temporary position where you will be responsible for end point device set up and allocation. If you have experience with Windows 10, Microsoft Active Directory, and system imaging, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
-Receive device packages, validate contents, and document items using agency processes for Asset Management.
-Label and track assets through the deployment process.
-Install devices into Active Directory and configure agency devices, including operating systems and software.
-Perform configuration testing and install devices or systems at desk side.
-Diagnose, isolate, and resolve technical and software problems, working closely with support teams and vendors.
-Document work performed and collaborate with agency employees to identify and resolve technical and business process issues.
-Work closely with the End-User Support Section to prioritize and schedule workload and implementation following agency IT standards, policies, and procedures.
Required Skills:
-Proficiency in Windows 10.
-Experience with Microsoft Active Directory.
-Familiarity with system imaging.
-Some travel involved
Preferred Skills:
-A+ Certification.
-Experience with MS System Center, BMC Footprints, Dell Tech Direct certification, and Windows 10 Enterprise.
Qualifications:
-Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
-Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes and procedures.
