About You (required)
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent education.
Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical billing role or contact center environment; additional points for experience in a medical contact center role.
Familiarity with basic insurance and medical terminology.
Display high emotional intelligence, showcasing the ability to empathize while steering conversations towards resolution.
Demonstrate a positive, proactive attitude, and a genuine passion for assisting patients in resolving their balances.
What You'll Do
Work remotely from your home office, engaging in both inbound and outbound calls to patients, aiding them in payment processing and balance resolution.
Maintain an 8-hour shift schedule between 8 am and 6 pm EST, Monday through Friday, with shifts typically ranging from 8 am to 5 pm or 9 am to 6 pm EST, based on team assignment. No late nights or weekends required!
Collaborate with patients and their families to alleviate outstanding balances, accommodating their budgets through full payments or the establishment of feasible payment plans.
Provide clear explanations regarding new medical balances, including details regarding dates of service and insurance coverage.

Remote Work Technical Requirements
