Health Clinic Nurse Coordinator

For more than 126 years, Epworth Children's Home has grown and adapted to the individual needs of children and families by providing a safe and nurturing environment, evidence-based practices, and programs across the continuum of care and across the state of South Carolina.
Position Summary: Ensures that client health needs are met through direct patient care and coordination of multidisciplinary health care providers, ensuring seamless communication and adherence to health regulations and standards. Coordinates care for child and adult clients in the Family Care Center, the Center for Independent Living, and cottages and foster homes on the Millwood campus.
Qualifications: Current SC or compact state license as an LPN required, RN preferred.
Certified in basic life support
Must have up to date personal liability insurance
Certified by the American Red Cross to teach CPR and First Aid within 60 days of hire
Minimum of five years experience as a licensed nurse
Must be able to pass standard background checks, including: drug screen, employment physical, SLED, DSS Central Registry and Sex Offenders Registry
Has a belief system and engages in faith practices that are compatible with those of the United Methodist Church
Must be proficient with various software programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and electronic communication. Know or have the ability to learn any database system required
