We are engaged in developing groundbreaking silicon-to-systems solutions – right from technology development and sophisticated memory designs to product development, systems design, and validation resulting in extraordinary memory solutions. The seniority level offered will be based on a combination of experience and education.In this position, you will collaborate with Micron's various teams all over the world and support the efforts of groups such as Product Engineering, Sales, Customer Engineering, Applications Engineering, and Marketing to proactively validate and integrate products that optimize quality, reliability, time-to-market, and customer happinessin the automotive market.In HBM DEG (High Bandwidth Memory - DRAM Engineering Group), we innovate and integrate end-to-end groundbreaking front-end and backend processes with groundbreaking design, debugging various tests, and qualification techniques to develop the lowest power per bit solutions to improve customer experience in the field of ML (Machine Learning) and AI (Artificial Intelligence). The success of a sophisticated product such as HBM relies vastly on vertical integration and the various engineering working in unison.Our team vision is a continuing desire to develop your skills working in an inclusive diverse environment of multi-cultural teams across worldwide geographies enabling the creative career path you deserve with competitive compensation, bonus structure & equity.What's Encouraged Daily:Be responsible for automotive system-level validation, failure analysis, characterization, and experimentation of customer systemsRun and configure diagnostic software, design experiments, analyze andinterpretdata,createcustom tools (Hardware and Software), presenting data to customers both inside and outside MicronProvide technical customer integration support at customer locations. To accomplish these responsibilities, you will use a variety of equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, signal generators, multi-meters, etc.)Work with auto customers and memory enablers like GPUmanufacturersto attain design wins and qualificationsforMicron memory products in their applicationsYou will work with other engineers within the HBM team, Product Engineering, FAE, Quality Assurance, and business unit teamsDebug Micron Product Customer FailuresProvide technical support to customers and the field salesUtilize diagnostics to reproduce the original failureIdentify failure mechanismCollaborate with Product Engineering and Return Material Authorization (RMA)Provide 8D or failure documentation for customer failure resolutionImplement fixes for fails (design or process)Design and Implement Micron System ToolsCreate test scripts for a variety of applicationsCreate and modify hardware that controls test parameters (i.e. temperature or voltage)Support internal customer diagnostics software and hardware tools within Micron labsInterface with externalcustomersto create intelligent DOE (design of experiments)Perform System CharacterizationUse software, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and other tools to understand system memory usageDevelop software to interpret dataCollaborate with Product and Application EngineeringCommunicate resultsHow To Qualify:Bachelor's Degree with 1-3 years of experience or Master's Degree, with a balance of both hardware and software skill setsComfortable working and programming with Linux, Python/C/C++, and version control systems (git, svn)Basic understanding of DRAM operations and computer networkingWhat Sets You Apart:Experience in bios/Linux driver development/debugUnderstanding of system architecturesComfortable working with lab equipment including oscilloscopes, logicanalyzers, protocol analyzersPrevious experience validating products with both hardware/firmware/software componentsExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsA self-motivated, hard-working team player who enjoys working with diverse abilities and backgroundsGood communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to other design peers in verbal and written formHaving an innovative approach that is open to improving upon any of our processes or products.As a world leader in the semiconductor industry, Micron is dedicated to your personal wellbeing and professional growth.
