TheGroup Digital Directoris an experienced player/ coach role responsible for the leadership of a pod of sales team members, whilst also being active in market helping to grow the patch of business overall. Reporting to the Head of Agency Sales, this role is responsible for leading and developing senior relationships and strategy across GroupM. We expect the successful candidate to have amazing relationships across GroupM, an inspiring management style and the mindset to get stuck in where needed. 
The Group Digital Director is an adaptable individual who can motivate their team, help to open doors across the agency group and help define the strategic approach in order to deliver on targets. We are looking for candidates with 8+ years of media sales experience with a focus on GroupM, preferably within a digital or technology focused business.
Note: GumGum fosters a flexible work environment, offering GumGummers the ability to work either in-office or remotely/from home. However, for occasional in-person collaboration, we kindly ask that this position be located within a 'commutable' distance to our office.

What You'll Achieve
Achieving UK GroupM Quota–This individual is primarily tasked with ensuring the business continues to develop and grow its relationship across GroupM in the UK ultimately ensuring their team exceeds revenue targets.
Financial Forecasting-Working with the team to provide financial forecasts, aligned to pipeline and expected revenue, for the GroupM Pod.
Team Management–Managing and motivating the GroupM team on a day-to-day basis. Working closely with them existing relationships and knowledge to open doors and better enable the team to succeed and enjoy their role.
Strategy Development-Working closely with the Head of Agency Sales to define the strategic approach across the patch of business, actively implementing this across the team. Acting as a thought-leader contributing highly innovative solutions to unusually complex client needs or initiatives
Relationship Development–Continuing to develop existing relationships to help increase the profile of GumGum across the agency group and open doors whilst also working hard to cultivate new senior relationships. Building and developing relationships with; Heads of planning/ investment, as well as BD's across the patch.
Internal Collaboration – Working closely with all aspects of the business including operations, publisher development and marketing to ensure your team is working effectively with each component. Feeding back key updates from clients on how we can better support their businesses.

Skills You'll Bring
8+ years of solid selling with a particular expertise and knowledge of GroupM
Proven sales team management and growth success
Must have strong selling experience and a track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets
Solid knowledge of the digital industry and the latest trends across the market
An amazing list of senior contacts across GroupM with a great reputation
People management skills – knowing how to flex different styles in order to get the best out of individuals and motivate them to create a happy and successful team.
PowerPoint, Excel and Word skills 
Must possess superb written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail and organization in daily tasks
