Grounds Maintenance Crew Leader

We are currently seeking a Grounds Maintenance Crew Leader who is part educator, part leader, and part skilled laborer. The ideal candidate will be eager to share their knowledge with our landscaping apprentices, contribute to the leadership team, and efficiently manage time and materials for projects. Responsibilities Train landscaping apprentices using our online platform, which includes a library of training videos, tests, and in-field training. Participate in leadership team meetings with administrative staff and owners, contributing to decisions for the betterment of the company. Identify ideal customers and jobs, hire crew members/apprentices based on "fit", and create and maintain efficiency systems at the shop and yard. Manage time and materials for projects to meet goals and budget constraints. Qualifications Experience in grounds maintenance or a related field. Leadership skills and the ability to train and mentor others. Strong decision-making abilities and the capacity to contribute to company-wide decisions. Ability to manage time and materials effectively to meet project goals. Compensation Compensation for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience. Turf Tamers also offers an incentive program for crews who exceed sales goals in a given season.
