Grants Management Specialist

Job Posting: Grants Management Specialist Job Description The Cow Creek Band of The Umpqua Tribe of Indians is currently seeking a Grants Management Specialist. This Full-Time position is based in our office and is not a remote job. As a Grants Management Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the grants awarded to our organization.
Duties and Responsibilities Manage all aspects of grant application process, including researching funding opportunities, preparing proposals, and submitting applications Develop and maintain relationships with funders, ensuring compliance with grant requirements Monitor grant budgets and spending, tracking expenses and reporting on grant performance Work closely with program staff to ensure grant objectives are met and program outcomes are achieved Prepare and submit grant reports, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to funders Stay informed about relevant grant regulations and requirements, and ensure compliance Requirements Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, or Business Administration 2+ years of experience in grants management or a related field Strong communication and writing skills, with the ability to write compelling grant proposals and reports Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple grants simultaneously Proficiency with Microsoft Office and grant management software
