Graduate Assistantships are available every fall and spring for Physical Therapy students. These graduate assistantships require that the student is currently enrolled in the entry-level DPT.
The Department of Physical Therapy offers one graduate assistantship to a student in the Concordia's Doctor of Physical Therapy program. Students chosen must continue to make satisfactory progress in the program and cannot be on probationary status.
Excellent organizational skills Excellent time management skills Excellent communication skills with families and patients Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including but not limited to word processing, Excel & Power Point, and Outlook The graduate assistant will report to the Director of Physical Therapy or his/her designee.
General responsibilities:
Retrieval and copying of materials Maintenance of PT labs and ordering supplies Clerical tasks: word processing; copying, filing Assist physical therapy program faculty with research-related tasks, including data entry, data collection, literature searches, and writing Other duties, as assigned, including maintaining the PT bulletin board The assistant will be expected to spend 10 hours per week fulfilling the assignments described.
