General Manager - Retail Cannabis Company

General Manager Pincanna is a vertically integrated cannabis company with headquarters in Farmington Hills, Michigan. Pincanna has a 135,000 square foot cultivation and production facility in Pinconning, Michigan, retail locations in Kalkaska, East Lansing, Kalamazoo, Pinconning, and planned retail locations throughout Michigan. We are looking to open our Kalamazoo location in June.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with strong leadership skills, who can support and manage a team. Responsibilities -Knowledge of the cannabis industry and strong knowledge of products and strains sold in store.
-Set sales goals and individual goals for employees, regularly communicate these goals to staff to keep everyone informed and motivated.
-Help staff meet and exceed their goals.
-Motivate staff to give exceptional customer service to every customer.
-Follow all opening and closing procedures, help implement new procedures as needed.
-Assist in analysis of performance of the store and make recommendations to improve sales and overall performance.
-Ensure all employees are following cash handling procedures and keeping record of discrepancies.
-Ensure all supervisors are following closing and opening procedures.
-Have an ongoing knowledge of state laws and regulations and ensure compliance rules are being followed.
-Lead regular supervisor meetings and team meetings.
-Keep a clean and organized office and safe.
-Hold regular reviews and touch bases with employees, assist with employee training and progression.
- Monitor sales floor for any needs that may arise.
- Assist in conflict resolution for employees and customers immediately and in a
professional manner.
- Open availability.
Experience -Familiar with METRC
-5+ Years of retail management experience
- Cannabis industry experience
Physical Requirements - Lifting up to 25 Pounds
- Standing for 8+ hours
