General Manager
Reports to: VP of Operations
Job Summary: As General Manager at Mint Eco Car Wash, you must be able to consistently deliver a 'five-star' experience for our guests and employees. This role requires a strong team leader who can foster a positive work environment, ensure adherence to policies and procedures, and provide high-quality customer service that goes beyond physical service delivery. The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the business, including P&L management, growing sales, daily operations, employee development, and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Leadership and Culture:
* Foster a positive work environment that encourages open and honest dialogue, feedback, innovation, and continuous improvement.* Provide clarity, reinforce it, and over-communicate it to the team to promote understanding and alignment with company goals and values.* Build a cohesive leadership team by providing guidance, support, and opportunities for professional development.
2. Operations Management:
* Responsible for all aspects of the daily operations of the car wash location.* Ensure adherence and compliance with all established policies, procedures, and processes to maintain a high standard of quality and service.* Responsible for onboarding new employees.
3. Labor Management:
* Manage labor effectively to meet company standards and optimize staffing levels based on business needs.* Monitor labor costs and take proactive measures to control expenses while maintaining quality and guest satisfaction.
4. Financial Performance:
* Responsible for site P&L and Sales Penetration Rates (P-Rates), managing expenses, and maximizing profitability through effective cost control and revenue generation strategies.* The Concierge team reports directly to the General Manager.
5. Customer and Employee Experience:
* Establish, demonstrate, and recognize exceptional customer service that goes beyond physical service delivery, ensuring customer happiness and loyalty.* Provide the management team and staff with the tools necessary to ensure exceptional guest experiences and interactions.
6. Facility Maintenance:
* Maintain a neat, clean, and organized site.* Coordinate and facilitate the necessary routine and preventative maintenance the site needs.
Minimum Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent.* 3+ years of previous management experience.* Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).* Must be able to speak, read, and write English.* Must work 50-55 hours per week.
Preferred Qualifications
* Basic knowledge of the car wash business and mechanical aptitude,* Mechanical Aptitude.* Practical knowledge and experience in P&L management.* Proficiency in Spanish.
