Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Safety & Quality:Finishes the required safety training and conducts all work in accordance with Micron and Technology Development (TD) safety policiesStops work for safety if unsafe conditions and/or behaviors are identifiedApplies and reviews job hazard analysis (JHA/JSA) for work being performedFollows all safety and environmental procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws including PPE, CoHe (lockout /tagout) and chemical safetyFollows-up on safety and quality related issues immediately and works towards resolution with partnersActively participates in the EHS program by reporting all EHS-related concerns or problems immediately (maximum 24 hours)Performs and facilitates audits and submits good catchesAlways wears appropriate PPE, per JHA, supervisor, EHS professionals, and/or job designationProactively finds opportunities to reduce potential hazards which may impact personnel health and/or the environmentUses proper lifting techniques and works in an ergonomically correct mannerFollows proper organisational change practices to ensure safety and quality expectations are metLeads quality improvement initiatives in their area of expertise to reduce Fab impacts, improve efficiency and drive cost savingsReviews designs as assigned to ensure they are within manufacturer's and company guidelines to ensure safety and quality expectations are metOwns content of construction specifications, design standards and design checklists that ensure quality, efficiency and safe workEnsures specifications, standard and checklists are aligned with corporate guidelinesLeads system solving efforts when requestedLeads lessons learned type activities per area of expertiseCommunication & Collaboration:Ensures appropriate communication with facilities and manufacturing partnersPartners with key stakeholders to develop solutions to continuously improve critical metricsPartners with collaborators to resolve equipment/process issues and improve system reliabilityCollaborates with areas leaders to create personal performance and development goalsCommunicates proactively with leaders and customers on the daily priorities and issues improvementCommunicates changes made to equipment and follows business rules for change controlPartners in data collection, gap analysis, and improvement implementationProactively communicates issues that could cause Fab impact, defects, tool restrictions, or lost movesCoordinates with customers and leaders on issues and changes, and provides regular status updatesBroadens cross-disciplinary knowledge through new assignmentsListens to customer feedback, recognizes opportunities and provides feedback for technical innovationUses questioning skills to better understand customer needs Interprets customer needs to identify potential opportunitiesCommunicates highly complex information to internal and external contactsExchanges complex information with colleagues and managersProvides advice and guidance to less experienced team membersProject Management/Planning:Uses a systematic project management methodology to develop, prioritize and manage projectsManages projects to ensure results are completed within the required scope, schedule and budgetTracks actions and provides escalation path or resources to ensure actions will be completed on timeDefines and leads complex, multi-disciplinary projects of critical importance to MicronCollaborates with partners on the design and coordination of projects Prepares project scope and ensures necessary guidance from appropriapartnersersEnsures that scope meets requestor needsCollaborates with consultant resourcesCoordinates and leads meetings and initiates follow-up actionsProvides support for the installation or commissioning of new facilities infrastructureProvides support for cost and schedule estimates and justification for approvalReviews design packagesFollows change management proceduresWorks with appropriate personnel to address problems or make correctionsSupports equipment startup and commissioningHelps to shape strategic decisions and provides technical supportCollaborates with Procurement, Manufacturing and appropriate partners on new tool/system purchasesTechnical/Data Analysis:Analyzes systems data to make critical decisions, improve performance, gain efficiency, and drive cost savingsProvides effective and timely guidance to resolve issues and is highly engaged in key problem resolutionProvides solving support for complex problems and addresses root cause Performs problem analysis using standard tools and methodologiesSupports risk and/or failure mode and effects analysisEliminates single points of failure and mitigates riskProvides consultation and technical support to Operations, Maintenance, Manufacturing and other department/sitesProvides engineering support to ensure facility compliance with federal, state, and local lawsIdentifies and develops a strategy for equipment/processes that streamlines PM frequencies and effectivenessPartners with key collaborators to identify gaps and opportunities for equipment/process efficienciesWorks with Manufacturing on excursion root cause identification, elimination, and preventionSupports corporate requests and assignmentsSupports benchmark activities on operational, procedural, engineering, facilities systemsMaintains applicable subject area knowledge, such as chemical theory, instrumentation control theory, high purity principles, etc.Drives a culture of TPM including TPM metrics, CIP items, MTAGs, and proceduresApplies standard engineering principles and practicesApplies administrative and engineering databases in support of job tracking, engineering data, and capital equipment facilitationPerforms research and development on emerging facilities technologies to support innovative semiconductor processesIncorporates safety controls in every aspect of the design, enhancement, and modification process Qualifications:Excellent multi-tasking, time-management, organization and prioritization skillsProven ability to communicate complex
