Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Safety & Quality:Finishes the required safety training and conducts all work in accordance with Micron and Technology Development (TD) safety policiesStops work for safety if unsafe conditions and/or behaviors are identifiedApplies and reviews job hazard analysis (JHA/JSA) for work being performedFollows all safety and environmental procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws including PPE, CoHe (lockout /tagout) and chemical safetyFollows-up on safety and quality related issues immediately and works towards resolution with partnersActively participates in the EHS program by reporting all EHS-related concerns or problems immediately (maximum 24 hours)Performs and facilitates audits and submits good catchesAlways wears appropriate PPE, per JHA, supervisor, EHS professionals, and/or job designationProactively finds opportunities to reduce potential hazards which may impact personnel health and/or the environmentUses proper lifting techniques and works in an ergonomically correct mannerFollows proper organisational change practices to ensure safety and quality expectations are metLeads quality improvement initiatives in their area of expertise to reduce Fab impacts, improve efficiency and drive cost savingsReviews designs as assigned to ensure they are within manufacturer's and company guidelines to ensure safety and quality expectations are metOwns content of construction specifications, design standards and design checklists that ensure quality, efficiency and safe workEnsures specifications, standard and checklists are aligned with corporate guidelinesLeads system solving efforts when requestedLeads lessons learned type activities per area of expertiseCommunication & Collaboration:Ensures appropriate communication with facilities and manufacturing partnersPartners with key stakeholders to develop solutions to continuously improve critical metricsPartners with actionsProvides support for the installation or commissioning of new facilities infrastructureProvides support for cost and schedule estimates and justification for approvalReviews design provides technical supportCollaborates with Procurement, Manufacturing and appropriate partners on new tool/system purchasesTechnical/Data Analysis:Analyzes systems data to make critical decisions, improve performance, gain efficiency, and drive cost savingsProvides effective and timely guidance to resolve issues and is highly engaged in key problem resolutionProvides solving support for complex problems and addresses root cause Performs problem analysis using standard tools and methodologiesSupports risk and/or failure mode and effects analysisEliminates single points of failure and mitigates riskProvides consultation and technical support to Operations, Maintenance, Manufacturing and other department/sitesProvides engineering support to ensure facility compliance with federal, state, and local lawsIdentifies and develops a strategy for equipment/processes that streamlines PM frequencies and effectivenessPartners with key collaborators to identify gaps and opportunities for equipment/process efficienciesWorks with Manufacturing on excursion root cause identification, elimination, and preventionSupports corporate requests and assignmentsSupports benchmark activities on operational, procedural, engineering, facilities systemsMaintains applicable subject area knowledge, such as chemical theory, instrumentation control theory, high purity principles, etc.Drives a culture of TPM including TPM metrics, CIP items, MTAGs, and proceduresApplies standard engineering principles and practicesApplies administrative and engineering databases in support of job tracking, engineering data, and capital equipment facilitationPerforms research and development on emerging facilities technologies to support innovative semiconductor processesIncorporates safety controls in
