Responsibilities
• Participate in and support team initiatives• Cross-train other employees• Complete labor tracking documentation• Communicate with team members• Improve efficiency and quality of parts• Select and obtain tool fixtures and programs• Interpret process sheets/print specifications• Operate and maintain furnaces• Enter program data and adjust equipment• Produce parts according to certification and quality guidelines• Assist in maintenance and calibration• Record and log data to comply with requirements• Communicate professionally and effectively• Report problems to appropriate resource• Utilize proper PPE and follow safety procedures• Other duties as required
Requirements
• High School Education or GED equivalency• 1 year manufacturing experience• Basic understanding of blueprint and process sheet interpretation• Strong mechanical aptitude• Proficient use of basic computer applications• Ability and willingness to operate high temperature ovens and furnaces• Experience in a self-directed teaming environment• Experience in a manufacturing environment working with furnaces• Familiarity with 6S & lean manufacturing knowledge
