One Vision is seeking to hire a Smart Living Services Manager - Full Time - Clear Lake, Iowa - Support individuals with developmental disabilities in our Tech- Enabled homes in Clear Lake, Iowa. (Not a work from home remote position.) Job Summary: The Smart Living Services Manager will collaborate with leadership, to develop and implement plans to anticipate, address, and direct the Remote Support services function supporting IDD individuals. Will ensure persons served receive the services they need in a safe, timely and respectful manner. Responsible for ensuring compliance with federal, state, national accreditation, and agency policies, procedures, practices, and guidelines. Will oversee and coordinate multiple projects, project budgets and developing programs to improve operational excellence. '
Job Functions: Provide the direction and management of Smart Living Program to advance the services provided to IDD individuals . This includes hiring, placement, transfer, orientation, evaluation, and progressive discipline of employees within the assigned Compile, analyze, and utilize data and other information in the successful performance of the program, including problem-solving and proactive development of goals and objectives for the Smart Living program. Drive the training plan to ensure internal staff are well-versed with remote support and assistive technology capabilities, any federal or state applicable policies, as well as have the necessary skills to discuss the options with individuals, their guardians, and case managers. Ensure services meet or exceed professional standards, national accreditation, Iowa Administrative Code rules, and certification requirements. Smart Living services are an emerging technology, and the Iowa Code and regulations are rapidly changing. Will collaborate with other service/departmental leaders to initiate improvements in service delivery and to identify and resolve problems impacting client care and program operations. Job requirements: BA in Human Services field preferred or equivalent education and experience and at least two years supervisor experience. Must possess three years of progressively responsible experience in supporting individuals with disabilities. Including prior experience working with stakeholders on AT options. Demonstrated project management planning skills , working under time constraints and the ability to prioritize multiple projects using time management skills. Ability to prepare communication, reports, presentations, and other products by proficient operation of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel data organization and analysis. Familiarity with various technologies used in assistive technology and smart homes; including but not limited to Wi-Fi networks, Bluetooth devices, sensors, voice assistance such as Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant, energy management systems and wireless switches.
