Responsibilities
• Offer a program meeting emotional, physical, intellectual, and social needs of individual and group.• Create warm and safe environment for children to grow and explore.• Engage and positively extend children's thinking and actions.• Plan lessons following Creative Curriculum objectives.• Practice positive discipline techniques and use data to inform lesson planning.• Maintain child records, portfolios, and hold family conferences.• Maintain open communication with co-workers and attend staff meetings.• Support organizational mission and policies.• Ensure consistent attendance and report to work on time.• Establish plan for professional growth.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field preferred.• At least 2 years of experience working with preschool or early elementary children.• Excellent speaking and hearing ability.• Meet state licensing requirements and pass background check and medical report.
