FRIDAY - MONDAY AVAILABILITY REQUIRED Restaurant/Bar in downtown Edmonds, from the restaurant group that brought you The Yard Cafe, Trailbend Taproom & The Dray.

West coast inspired cuisine using local ingredients to bring comfort food and healthier options to the table.

We are seeking experienced line staff with a strong work ethic, capable of handling a fast-paced and high volume restaurant/bar. Must be consistent, timely, dependable, and take pride in their work. This role requires a highly motivated individual with a passion for food and a strong sense of urgency. Along with being a skilled line cook, you must also be coachable, possess strong communication skills, and work seamlessly with the back and front of house.

Responsibilities: Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
Cook menu items according to Chef/Lead instructions and in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
Communicate with and report to BOH Lead
Assist Chef & Lead with lists of items/ingredients that need to be ordered
Label and stock inventory appropriately
Maintain a clean and orderly workstation
Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
Performed other kitchen duties as assigned by supervisor
Skills & Qualifications: Proven cooking experience, including experience as a restaurant cook or prep cook
Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
Kitchen administration knowledge
Ability to follow instructions, take direction, and receive critical feedback
Demonstrates efficient organizational, time management, multi-tasking skills
Knowledge of health and food safety standards to maintain sanitary kitchen conditions
Team player with good communication skills
Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
Familiar with industry best practices
Ability to stay calm under pressure
Culinary school a plus
Requirements: Flexible schedule with day/night availability!! Must be able to work weekends!

Food Handlers permit.

Compensation: $20-$24 per hour + TIPS DOE
