A Pasta Maker creates fresh batches of pasta daily at an Eataly locationResponsible for educating guests on Eataly's various pastas and providing customer serviceFunctionally reports to the Fresh Pasta Lead

Responsibilities
• Makes pasta according to Eataly's recipes and high-quality standards• Weighs and packages pasta• Advises guests on pasta choices• Ensures all items are rotated according to First In First Out (FIFO) standards• Maintains a clean and sanitary work area that meets Department of Health standards• Performs other duties as required or assigned
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent or culinary degree preferred• 1+ year of experience as a cook or chef preferred• Knowledge of Italian cuisine preferred• Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule often including weekends• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds• Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending, and squatting• Ability to operate equipment such as a commercial mixer and pasta machine• "Please be prepared to provide proof of full Covid-19 vaccination upon hire."
Key Skills Needed
• Knowledge of Italian cuisine• Experience as a cook or chef• Ability to operate commercial kitchen equipment
