Job Description: As a Traveling Foreman, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating commercial pool construction projects at various locations across the country. Working closely with project managers and construction teams, you will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
* Lead and supervise construction crews during all phases of pool construction projects.
* Coordinate with project managers to develop and execute project plans, schedules, and budgets.
* Conduct on-site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project specifications.
* Train and mentor field staff on construction techniques, safety protocols, and best practices.
* Manage subcontractors and vendors, including scheduling and overseeing their work.
* Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and inspectors.
* Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction.
* Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, progress photos, and change orders.
* Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to management and clients.
* Travel to project sites as required, staying on-site for extended periods as needed.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a foreman or supervisor in commercial construction, with a focus on pool construction preferred.
* Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
* Extensive knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
* Ability to read and interpret construction plans, drawings, and specifications.
* Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
* Willingness to travel extensively and work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
* Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
* OSHA certification or willingness to obtain.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training in construction management or related fields preferred.
