Flooring Senior Project Manager

Job summary
A top commercial flooring company is looking for a highly skilled Account Manager/Project Manager.Responsible for specifying products and installation services for specific projects.Presenting products/services to architects, designers, and other end users.
Job seniority: mid-to-senior level
Responsibilities
• Actively prospecting for and developing customers.• Working with suppliers, architects, designers, building owners, facility management, and general contractors to choose products that fit their budget.• Cultivating relationships within all customer target markets.• Giving presentations to educate clients on flooring, installation, and maintenance.• Ensuring accurate system requirements and paperwork.• Overseeing project management in the field.• Working effectively with internal staff and coordinating teams.• Managing profitability throughout the life of the project.
Requirements
• Previous sales experience or building science/construction management or advanced commercial floor installation experience required.• Knowledge of the commercial floor covering industry and commercial flooring products preferred.• Previous experience selling in a comparable industry preferred.• Bachelor's degree in marketing, building science, construction management, or business preferred.• Must be able to read and comprehend blueprints.• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to operate a motorized vehicle.• High School Diploma/GED required.
