This is a dynamic and high profile position requiring the successful candidate to utilize a broad range of financial, process, operational and strong communication skills; combined with strong business acumen. The Sr. Financial Analyst will play a key role on the leadership team of the Strategic Support function. This person will be the primary contact for these areas in terms of providing guidance and input from finance.What you'll do at InsightResponsible for providing financial reporting, analysis and planning support to IT leadership.Assist in providing value-added management reporting on expense and investment management within the corporate finance organizationProvide guidance to IT on their budgets and financial aspects of their operational decisions.Annual and quarterly budgets preparation, supporting an IT (Information Technology) departmentFinancial Reporting & Forecasting & variance analysisGeneral Ledger and Expense review and analysisVarious ad-hoc analysis and special projects as assignedWhat you'll need to join InsightProficiency in financial modeling and experience with financial planning systems such as Anaplan, Hyperion, or Workday Adaptive.Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Minimum 4 years' experience in various Accounting & Finance functions.Minimum 2 years in a business analysis and requirements definition.Minimum 2 years' experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling and analysis or developing.Minimum 2 years' experience developing Operating Plans or Capital Project Budgets with Operational Leaders.Certified public accountant ("CPA") designation preferred.Embraces change is a catalyst for change in the business community.Has participated in group work sessions making major decisions regarding workflow, business analysis, implementation planning, and system testing.Highly articulate in both oral and written communication, presentation, persuasion and negotiation to achieve desired result.Can communicate effectively and credibly with all organizational levels, with the specific ability to gain trust, draw out needs, creatively propose ideas, and immediately and expertly resolve conflicts and concerns.Ambitious, flexible, and aggressive. A self-starter who requires minimum supervision and adapts easily to changing work environments and requirements and can drive for results.General knowledge of information technology (networks, operating systems, business applications, web technology, databases).Ability to work flexible hours as needed.Knowledge of Distribution processes and systems a plusAbility to work effectively in TeamsDemonstrated ability to build consensusAbility to adapt and work well in a rapidly changing environment and be a change leaderCan handle many projects as well as ongoing operational responsibilities simultaneously.Demonstrated ability to deliver while working under time pressure with multiple deadlinesAdvanced MS Office skillsWorking knowledge of SAP and iCare databasesPhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a teammate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
